Penny Collenette appointed Executive-in-Residence at the University of Ottawa
OTTAWA, June 23, 2003 — The University of Ottawa is pleased to announce the appointment of Penny Collenette as Executive-in-Residence. Working with the Faculty of Law and the School of Management, Ms Collenette will also assist the University of Ottawa with institutional initiatives.
Ms. Collenette is presently a Senior Fellow at the Center for Business and Government, Kennedy School, Harvard University and director of Holt, Renfrew & Co. Ltd.
A graduate of Carleton University and the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, she articled with the Ottawa firm of Perley-Robertson, Hill and McDougall and was called to the Bar in 1993. Ms. Collenette has previously served as Vice-President, Chairman’s Office, George Weston Limited, as well as Director of Appointments in the Prime Minister’s Office.
