Cristina M. Atance, associate professor in the School of Psychology, earned the 2008 Young Researcher of the Year Award in the social sciences and humanities for her colossal contribution to psychology. More notably, her research concentrates on the cognitive development, thinking and planning for the future in children, and mind theory.
