2007-2008 Recipient - André Beauchemin
André Beauchemin is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry. His research is on the development of new synthetic methodologies and their application in the synthesis of bioactive nitrogen compounds. He is a first-rate researcher who, in spite of is young age, has already published a number of articles in prestigious journals. He is also at home in front of a large class of students, effortlessly communicating his passion for organic chemistry.
