2007-2008 Recipient - Lucie Joubert
Lucie Joubert, an associate professor in the Département de français, has spent many years studying feminine humour and irony, and exploring different aspects of the topic in her writing. She also worked on a pilot project for first-year courses; this new approach focuses on reading and analyzing literary works to arm students with the intellectual tools necessary to pursue their university objectives. She has received universal praise for her remarkable qualities as an educator and above all, for her contagious enthusiasm of her subject matter, not to mention her generosity of spirit and big heart.
