2007 Recipient - Camille Provencher
Chancellor's scholarship 2007-2008 (Social Sciences)
Camille Provencher was accepted into the Faculty of Social Science’s international development and globalization program, after completing her CEGEP studies at Saint-Laurent in Montreal. She was part of the international issues program with an option on North-South relations which led her to complete an international co-operative work placement in Equator. She has also been a volunteer with Amnesty International and for the Quebec Association for Cystic Fibrosis. Camille received a Millennium Scholarship in 2006 and the Lieutenant-Governor’s Prize in 2005. She completed an International Baccalaureate and a diploma from l’École d’éducation secondaire internationale de Laval. She tutored for SOS Études Montréal/Laval and for her CEGEP help centres in the humanities, philosophy and French.
