2007 Recipient - Katerina Pagiatakis
President's Scholarship 2007-2008 (Engineering)
Katerina Pagiatakis, a graduate of John McCrae Secondary School in Nepean, Ontario, has joined the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Engineering, Biomedical Mechanical Engineering. Throughout her high school career she received many awards such as silver awards for maintaining a hither than 90 per cent average in all her courses and awards for receiving the highest mark in a course. She was elected by teachers to attend several enrichment courses at the University level. Katerina has volunteered as a peer tutor, a Greek dance teacher, and a dance performer. Other interests include writing for the school newspaper, playing saxophone in school concert and jazz bands, and being a member of the multicultural club at John McCrae Secondary School.
