Shawn Aaron of the Faculty of Medicine and the Ottawa Health Research Institute is focussing on helping patients with chronic lung disease. He will conduct clinical trials to determine the best combination of inhaled medications to treat patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, otherwise known as COPD.
