Young Researcher of the Year
2006 Recipient - Keith Fagnou
Research Focus
Keith Fagnou focuses on improving the efficiency of the preparation of complex molecules from simple precursors. These processes are integral to the production of everything from medicines to plastics; consequently, improved efficiency will have broad implications for chemical resource management and in the establishment of more environmentally benign chemical practices. As such, Fagnou’s work is part of what has been coined the “green chemistry” movement.
