2006 Recipient - Valérie Duchesneau
President's Scholarship 2006-2007 (Science)
A graduate of Champlain St-Lambert Regional College, Valérie has been admitted to the Faculty of Science’s environmental science program. A concerned and informed citizen, she campaigned for her party’s candidate in the last federal election, and worked on the “Yes” campaign to deamalgamate the City of Brossard. She was also a member of her school choir, theatre company and recycling committee. A member of Amnesty International and a tutor for students with learning problems, Valérie genuinely cares about her fellow citizens and her community.
