2005 Recipient - Lindsey Massar
Lindsey’s real passion is music. She plays and teaches the Cello. Although Lindsey participated in many fund raising activities for international aid, it is through music that she approaches change on a global scale. For Lindsey, Music is the means through which she can communicate with the world and promote change through understanding and growth. Dedicated President of the Langley Fine Arts School Student Council in 2003/2004, Lindsey also took time to tutor Math and Science to eighth grade students.
Among her many distinctions, Lindsey was awarded the Canadian Merit Scholarship 2005 National Award. Furthermore, she has been an Honour Role Student at the Langley Fine Arts School since 2002. In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys to play and teach the Cello.
