2002 Recipient - Chantal Lanoy
Chantal Lanoy excels at managing several projects at once. She maintained an outstanding level of academic excellence while holding the position of school president, working part-time and being involved in various sport and volunteer activities. Chantal is recognized among her peers as a natural leader. She received, among other prizes, an award for outstanding leadership in her school (1996) and a young entrepreneur prize (2001). As president of her school council, Chantal had the opportunity to welcome African ambassadors because of an intercontinental correspondence project undertaken by the Collège Franco-Ouest. She was also her school's store manager, a tutor and a member of the graduation, yearbook and recycling committees. Chantal has been involved in fundraisers, such as the Snow Suit Fund, has organized activities for nursing homes and is also a certified lifeguard.
