2003 Recipient - Jenna Dawn Thompson
Faculty of Arts, Visual Arts
Jenna Dawn Thompson managed to combine outstanding
schoolwork with an incredible range of extracurricular activities. She graduated from Frontenac Secondary School (Bath, Ontario) with a 98.5 percent average.
Her school activities included being a member of the co-ed competitive cheerleading team, the choir and the yearbook committee, while participating in plays
and musicals. She organized and choreographed a fashion show, in which she was also a model. Outside of school, she pursued a variety of artistic interests
including dance, singing, music, and modelling. Her talents won her first and third prizes in a photography competition and the top prize in the Starry
Starry Night competition in Kingston. She has volunteered with the Girl Guides of Canada, the Tree Festival, and a children community theatre centre. Jenna
speaks English, French, Spanish, and German.
