Distinguished Canadian Leadership Award (DCLA)
To honour exceptional leadership within the Canadian community, the University of Ottawa held the inaugural Distinguished Canadian Leadership Awards in October, 2003. The event will be held annually hereafter. Recipients were awarded for: service to the community at large, impact on the community, innovative approaches to national concerns, persistent effort, and contributions to the creation of a strong sense of Canadian community.
